| HUAH!!!
Told you I'd update. Well, lets see...things are pretty awesome
here at Husky Village. The internet sucks though. I think I
am going to get Roadrunner for like 50 bucks a month. Got my ID
card yesterday. The lady says Im the first person in HBU history
to take an ID picture with my face painted. No need to tell me
awesome I am, I already know (pppplllllleeeeeeaaaaassssseeee tell
me!!!).I also went to the Wellness Center yesterday. DAMN...its
the nicest gym I have ever seen. Theres like 3 different pools
all at different temperatures. Cool, warm, and hot. About
50 treadmills and another 50 stair stepper machines. Some rowing
thingies and a bunch of other cardio crap. Theres also a bunch of
machines for weight lifting. Some of them have air pressure
systems so you can adjust the weight while you're lifting. Here
is an example of when the air pressure system might be used:
Steven at the gym. "Wow, Im so strong. Im going to lift 1000
pounds! Ahhhhhrrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!" Steven then gently pushes the
air pressure button . The weight drops down to 5 pounds.
Steven triumphantly slams the weight down. "Thats what I thought
biatch!" What a great story. Anyway, after the gym we shot
some hoops at Husky Village. Freakin fun even though I really
suck! You know, I used to be on the A team in Jr. High, eat it! | | |
| I figure its about time to update. I suck at xanga.
Sorry. Im really freakin tired so I will post something cool and
funny "tomorrow." Until I update "tomorrow" how are things going
at Blinn? Y'all have tryouts yet? Keep me updated.
I'll be going to Blinn sometime this week to give some books to
Cole. We should probablly hang out and stuff. That'd be
nice. Mmmmhhhhmmm...Anyway, I'll post some more crap
"tomorrow." Later players! Oh, by the way, you do realize
"tomorrow" means in a few months right? Good...

| Sup Players! Yeah...whats been goin on? I've been so
busy lately, thats why I havent updated. You know, ever since my
mom died . Robert took it pretty hard for the first
couple of hours. That is, until he found his gin....Haha, just
joking. Dont worry, my mom is still alive and Robert is still an
alcoholic. Anyway, my summer has been pretty badass so
far. I have started hitting the gym every day. I can
already tell I have lost a little fat and gained a little muscle.
I have also started eating much healthier. I have had about 2 hot
pockets this entire summer. And they were the lean ones!
Everyone take a second and let that soak in...one
mississippi...alright, thats better. So, action packed summer for
me. Right now Im at the Texas Music Festival. Its pretty
boring, just like last year. Were playing Ein Heldenleben, which
is my favorite song. It goes like this: Dummmm diddle dum
diddle dummmmm diiiiidle dummmm diddle diddle dummmmmm..... and so on
and so forth. You get the idea, its pretty awesome. Anyway,
a few changes from last year is this year my dorm room has no AC.
Aint that a bitch. Its 100 degrees outside and I dont have any
ac. WTF?!?! Had to go buy a fan. Its pretty
nice. Metallic blue, with a nice oscilation system...that means
its spins. The biggest addition (hehe) is that this year Ben is
also in the TMF orchestra. Hes cookin on that crazy tenor tuba
part. Were havin fun. Here is a quick story about one of
our scarier TMF adventures:
Here is an epic tale of two brave badasses who slayed a beast.
Once upon a time, Ben Ware and Steven Winter were at a boring music
festival, living in a shitty, SHITTY dorm room at U of H. Then,
out of the darkness aross a monsterous eight-legged beast. Yes,
thats right, it was a half a centimeter long spider. Calm
yourselves, for this is only the beginning of our journey.
Steven pointed out the monster while updating his zango (because all of
his friends love him and miss him sooooo much). Ben, who suddenly
turned on his hunter instincts, immediatly conjured up a plan. With
metal music stand in hand Ben said "I'm gonna slice the fuck outta that
spider." Steven at this point fell to the ground in
laughter. He regained his composer and meet Ben at the
wall. There they saw the beast in all his glory. Truely
horrific. CRASH, BANG, BOOM SHAKA LAKA. The mighty beast
fell. Ben screamed "Get it! GET IT!!!. Steven unable to
keep a straight face once again fell to the floor. He handed his
shoe to Ben who towered above his prey. Ben then cominced to
smash the fuck out of that beast. Steven lost count of the
smashings around 10. Rumor says that the men continued to
slaughter the beast throughout the night until there rehersal the next
day. Mmmmm, truely glorious.
Whew, scares me just thinking about it. Tomorrow morning I have a
masterclass with Roger Kaza, the acting principal horn of the Houston
Symphony. Im really excited and nervous about the
experience. I'll let everyone know how it went when I update my
xoenga in a couple of years. Earlier this week I had a lesson
with Nancy Goodearl, acting 2nd chair of the Houston Symphony.
She is really freaking awesome. I played for her last year before
I hurt my lip when I was a badass, so I was kinda scared to play for
her again, since I am still a little messed up. Luckily, she said
that I improved a lot and that she specialy requested me to be her
student while I attend the festival. How awesome is that?
Speaking of my lip, I went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and he
said to take a couple weeks off from playing to see if it heals up
anymore. He also recommended me to a real lip doctor. Woot!
Probably the coolest part of my summer has been spending time with
Court. Shes freakin awesome. We've been together for about
8 months and I am pretty dang happy. I really love her a
lot! Sorry, I hate to turn my zxzengao into a serious journal,
just wanted to let everyone know how happy I am. I love you
Court!!!
Hmmm, I guess thats about it. I miss everyone a lot. Im
kinda sad about making new friends at HBU. Im cool with pretty
much everyone already, but Im sure they'll never replace my friends and
brothers at Blinn. Keep in touch and MOST importantly...dont let
the bed bugs bite. Later.
Your favorite person in the entire freakin world,
Steven
